The 5th China International Environmental Exhibition opened in Chengdu

The 5th China Environment Expo Chengdu Exhibition IE expo Chengdu 2024, hosted by Messe Munich Group, China Environmental Science Society, China Trade Munich Exhibition (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Chengdu Environment Group, Sichuan Green Development Promotion Association, Sichuan Circular Economy Association, Chengdu Environmental Science Society and other organizations, will be grandly held at China (Chengdu) Western International Expo City from June 26 to 28, 2024.

359 leading environmental protection companies gathered together, and advanced equipment and cutting-edge technologies for environmental pollution control from nine countries including Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, the Netherlands, Finland, and Italy were displayed, showing the latest achievements and development direction of the environmental protection industry.

At the opening ceremony, Tian Chengchuan, member of the Standing Committee of the Chengdu Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of the Municipal Government, mentioned in his speech that since its first landing in 2019, the Chengdu Environmental Expo has grown into a landmark event for the environmental protection industry in the central and western regions, providing a strong impetus for the development of green and low-carbon industries.

Zhou Tao, assistant secretary-general of the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences, also said that the exhibition is not only a platform for scientific and technological exchanges, but also an important position to promote the self-reliance and self-improvement of green and low-carbon technologies in the west.

At the exhibition, a series of cutting-edge technologies and solutions in the field of environmental protection were dazzling, focusing on the new materials, new products, new equipment, new technologies and solutions in various links of the industrial chain and supply chain, such as water and sewage treatment, water supply and drainage systems, solid waste treatment and disposal, air pollution control, environmental monitoring and testing, contaminated soil remediation, comprehensive environmental governance, and carbon neutrality.

About 10,000 kinds of high-quality equipment for environmental pollution control industry were exhibited at this exhibition, including central and state-owned enterprises in the comprehensive environmental management sector such as Chengdu Environment Group, Chengdu Tiantou Industry, and China Construction Environmental Energy, leading enterprises in the solid waste treatment sector such as Wisken Environmental Protection, Qunfeng Heavy Industry, and Huidatong, advanced manufacturers in the water supply and drainage pump, pipe and valve sector such as Nanfang Pump, Zenit Pump, Aosheng Pump, and Chenxun Technology, high-tech enterprises in water and sewage treatment such as Boyi Environmental Protection, Zhongqiao Qidi, and Tiantong New Environment, benchmark enterprises in the environmental monitoring and testing sector such as Lihe Technology and Tianjian Innovation, brand enterprises in the air pollution control sector such as Zhenrun Environment, Naboco Environmental Protection, and Xinjing Environment all brought their latest energy-saving, resource-based, and intelligent equipment to this environmental protection show in the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle, allowing the audience to feel at close range the strong momentum of innovation and development of the environmental protection industry driven by new quality productivity.
